Sephora Haul

Have been doing good not to go to Sephora lately but since I NEED a few things desperately, had to place an online order. You notice I said " NEED". A couple of weeks ago, notice a few fine lines appear  underneath my eyes which freaked me out a little.

Origins Plantscription Eye Treatment, Benefit World Famous Neutrals Palette, Smashbox Photo Finish Undereye Primer.

I also redeemed 100 points for the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye cream. They were also running a Stila promo so I got the 2 lip glosses and a mascara as well.

They have 3 palettes and this one is the easiest nudest ever palette

Includes: RSVP and No Pressure cream shadows
& 4 eye shadows

I have their Birthday Suit cream shadow and absolutely love it. It has the creamiest texture and does not seem to dry out like the other cream shadows I have tried. So want to get this palette mainly to try the two cream shadows.

Comes in a little keepsake box with a booklet of tips and tricks to create certain looks.

Left: No Pressure
Right: RSVP

No Pressure(left) is a soft mocha brown with no shimmer which I need. My other ones are all shimmery and definitely need a matte one. RSVP(right) is a very soft beige/pink with a hint of sheen. This will be perfect for a more subtle neutral look.

The 2 lighter shades are not as pigmented as I would like. The other 2 are much better pigmentation. I have not tried Benefit's shadows and they are ok but not super-impressed.

I have tried Origins GinZing eye cream. It has a bit of tint to it so quite nice to apply in the morning to brighten my under eye area. But I feel it is not as moisturizing. So want to give the Plantscription eye treatment a try. I have been trying it for a week and so far it I'm liking it. Make my skin around my eyes extremely soft and feel that it is being "pampered".  Haven't tried the Bobbi Brown hydrating eye cream but will give an update once I give it a try.

I believe Shamshbox Photo Finish hydrating eye primer is a relatively new product. I have oily skin and find my under eye concealer does not last as long as I would want to. I have tried their Photo Finish face primer and absolutely love the silky texture so decided to give this a try.

Comes in a tube with a clear plastic top applicator. Making it much easier to squeeze out the product without your fingers constantly touching the tip which may not that hygienic.

It has a similar texture as the Photofinish Face Primer. Very silky and smooth with a hint of pink in it. Perfect for brightening the under eye area.

I have been using this for a week. You just need a tiny little bit. If you apply too much, it may be hard to blend in. I usually apply BB cream or a light foundation before I apply this. If I apply too much, find it some of the products I applied beforehand would be "pushed" to the side. I find also if I apply too much eye cream underneath, same thing occurs. Maybe I should really let my foundation and eye cream set nicely before I apply the eye primer. Have yet to find a way to make this product work a bit better.

The Stila set contains a mascara and 2 lip glosses

The 2 shades are delicate and logan berry. Both colors are very easy to wear. A bit sticky to my liking though. It also has a twist up brush applicator which I find it not the easiest way to apply lip glosses.

    1. I had the Kiehls' avocado eye cream. It's very good but not moisturizing enough for me too. I am using the Origins Plantscription eye treatment and find it much richer.

    1. I love the darker shades in the palette better than the lighter shades surprisingly. Loving the cream eye shadows.

  8. Wow, nice haul from Sephora! The Benefit eyeshadow palette looks really pretty. Have you tried Tata Harper eye cream? In case you are interested, I wrote a review about it here. I have been using it regularly for a while now and it makes a huge difference, I highly recommend it.
