Kate Spade Charlotte Street Miles

Have been shopping for a new handbag for a while. I know what style I'm going for. But sometimes online shopping for purses can be difficult. I want to see if I can wear it over the shoulders with thick winter coat. I want to see if it is heavy. Decided to compare a few bags before I make my decision.

I want a camel-colored purse. It started with seeing the gorgeous Prada bag(buy here)

Went to Holt Renfrew to try the actual bag and yes it is absolutely stunning. But is it worth $1900? It is probably to a lot of people as I saw a teenager with a black one at the mall today.

My next option is the  Coach version

That's why I love shopping at Yorkdale Mall. There are tons of stores all under the same roof so I can shop and compare all before I buy. Went to the Coach store and tried this on. It is very nice. But the leather is not as soft as I thought it would be.

Just when I was ready to leave the mall empty-handed, decided to go back to Holt Renfrew to check out some Kate Spade bags. We went to the new Kate Spade store and saw some nice bags. I know Holt Renfrew usually carry different styles and decided to check it out.

I love the longer handle so I can wear it over my shoulders even with a heavy winter coat. Love the light camel color and the buckle details. Usually when I see a bag I really like, it doesn't take me long to decide on my purchase. So this one came home with me :)

This picture is taken with natural light so the color is quite accurate.

This one is taken in my bedroom and it is pretty dark.

I usually carry my bag like this. But after a full day of shopping, my arms will be sore and I prefer to wear it over my shoulders.

As you can tell, it has a long handle and I can easily wear it over my shoulders, even with a thick winter coat.

Side profile. It has 2 side slots with snap buttons and a zipped up middle compartment.

I like the buckle details on the front, making it a more sophisticated look

Funny of all the " research" I have been doing before going shopping for a handbag, I never look at the Kate Spade bags. I find when shopping for bags, you have to know what you are looking for first. Narrow it down to a few brands and styles and it will make your purchase much easier. I have made many mistakes before from impulse purchase and end up not wearing those bags much and wasting a lot of money.
