I have not tried a lot of products from Garnier. I always notice the brand is coming up with innovative skin products and I am super excited to try a couple of their new products.
First up is their SkinActive Micellar Water: All-in-1 Cleansing Water*. I love a good and simple makeup cleansing solution. What sold me is this does not require rinsing. I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis. Using a simple yet gentle cleansing water to remove my makeup is ideal. Also, I like to switch up on lipsticks a couple of time throughout the day(yes, that often happen when I cannot make up my mind). Using this to gently wipe off my lip color is perfect. I don't have to rinse it off and wash off the oily residue before re-applying another lipstick. I wear waterproof mascara and this Micellar Water does a fairly good job in removing all of it. I just have to go over a couple of times and it is gentle on the eyes. Honestly, I can say this is a very good alternative to the pricier Bioderma Sensibio.
Second product I tried is the Garnier SkinActive Miracle Anti-Fatigue Wake-up Hydra Gel Moisturizer*. For the cold winter months, my skin is dehydrated and look fatigue and dull. The is a gel moisturizer and very hydrating. I have tried a number of gel moisturizers and don't have much luck with those as they are either breaking me out or I can't see a difference in my skin. I have only been using this for 5 days and I notice my skin texture is improved. Only need a pea-size amount for my whole face as I made the mistake of applying too much on my first day and it does not get absorbed properly. With the right amount applied, it is absorbed into the skin within a minute and perfect under makeup. My skin looks radiant. I have oily combination skin and I definitely know the difference between being shiny and radiant. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a drug-store gel moisturizer. Best one I have tried so far.
