Anthropologie Change Room

Such a beautiful day today. Went to Shops on Don Mills. Love to go there as I can go to Anthropologie. I believe that is the only store in Toronto or maybe in Canada.

I'm currently still shopping for pants. I find my shopping habits interesting. If I'm in the mood of pants shopping, I would just shop purely for those items. Once my satisfaction is complete, I will gladly move onto other items.

I'm hunting for a pair of white denim. Can't find this pair online anymore. Believe it is skinny leggings (sim here)

It is extremely hard to find a good pair of white denim. This one is extremely comfortable. Guess the right amount of spandex makes a huge difference. This is originally priced at $229 and it is currently on sale for $89 which I find very reasonable.

My theory of shopping for a pair of good white jeans is when I try it on and I can bare the thought of viewing myself in the mirror for a few minutes, that is a good pair. I have tried on many pairs and usually after a few seconds I put them on, just the glimpse of my rear end in the mirror horrify me so much that I have to remove them immediately.

This pair is cotton with pattern. It is a lighter material. But I'm not sold on the pattern as I find a lot of times white pants with pattern reminds me of pj pants.

This a close up of the pattern. Not sure if it's an anchor or bird. Pass on this one.

Again, can't find this on the website. I find a lot of items in the Canadian store is different from the US website. Maybe we're running behind here and a lot of items are sold out online.

Next up is a linen jacket. Matches very well with my Old Navy stripe tee. This is a size 6. It fits on the shoulder and lengthwise. And for jacket, I always want to make sure I have enough room just in case I want to layer it with a slightly thicker top. But ended up not getting this as it is made of linen and I am the type of person who hates ironing. This jacket would wrinkle so easily.

I grabbed the wrong size. This is a medium and I should have grabbed a small as this one seems to have a lot of material around the shoulder. I like the back as it has a slit.

  1. I really like the slitted cardigan - it's very different!

There's an Anthropologie in West Edmonton Mall, but that's kind of far from where you are. :P

    1. Now that I searched their website and find there are actually 3 stores in Canada. One in downtown Toronto as well. Just wish they will open some more as I like the store a lot.

    1. so hard to look for a good pair of white skinnies which don't make my rear end look huge. Denim is hard to shop for and white ones are extremely hard. Just trying on different styles, different brands is exhausting. Glad I found this one which I like.

  6. I really need to shop inside J.Crew not just do store window shopping. I am glad you passed on the linen jacket....that thing is going to look like you slept in it for 5 days straight as soon as you put it on!

    1. If J Crew open more stores in Canada, that would make me so happy. I am not a big fan of linen and I'm a lazy bummer of ironing. So this jacket is a no go for me.

    1. I am not a fan of linen and I have to say I am not good at ironing (and lazy at that too) so the linen jacket is a no-go for me.

Thanks for stopping by, so sweet of you :)

    1. Totally agree. Linen is a nice fabric but I think they are for people who take their clothes for professional cleaning and steaming. For everyday use, there is no way that I can keep it wrinkle-free for more than a few mins.

  11. I can't tell what's up on those pants either. I like the jacket & cardi w/a twist, though. You look really cute in your ON tee :)

    1. thank you so much. I have always wanted a pair of white denim but find it exhausting to try on different brands and styles just to find the right pair. But at the end it pays off.

  16. Anyone who has the courage to wear white pants deserves applause!
Just so you know, there are three Anthro stores in the Toronto area - Don Mills, Yorkville (downtown) and the newest one out in Oakville that just opened 2 weeks ago.
J.Crew will be opening a new store in the Eaton Centre by September. as well as a men's store up at Yorkdale.
    Happy shopping!
