OOTD & Zara dressing room

Bought the J. Crew sunflower a while ago but haven't worn it yet.

The reason I haven not worn it is I want to wear it with a top with the neckline suitable for it and I cannot find a top. You know sometimes your wardrobe is full of clothes but when you want to find one top for certain purpose, you cannot find it. I totally forgot about this blue top I got last summer. There is this Italian boutique located in a small plaza in my parents' neighborhood in Toronto which I love to go to every time I go home for visits. They have very cute clothing items but a bit pricey. I only go there when there is an end of season sale, usually 50-70% off. I got this top at the end of last summer and only worn it a handful of times.

Anyway, back to my necklace. Love it and I think I can wear it with just a simple plain tee too.

Colored denims are so popular this spring. I bought a red pair from Joe Fresh. Want another pair of lighter color. I thought either a light red or pink would be great.

Went to Zara and tried on a pair.

On a side note, I hate going into dressing room with dust bunnies(see those on the floor!!). Look like nobody clean the dressing room ever. When you try on pants, you have to take off your shoes and I hate that.

Love this shade of pink. Think I can wear it with a lot of colored tops. But not 100% about the fit.

Tried this lovely stripe top on (but the picture turned out blurry, oops). When I see a stripe top and when it is a light fabric, I love it more. Tried this on but the neckline is way too low. I love the little gold buckle but thought it would be harsh to wash it in the machine.

In Canada, Zara does not offer online shopping. I just wish that would come soon so it would make my purchases easier.

  1. Urgh! I hate those dust bunnies too! They get all over my pants. X( I saw similar pants in M&S but I picked up a cobalt blue instead of the pink, the pink was so pretty but made me look huge! LOL!

    1. Don't you hate it when the dressing room floor is so dirty?! Really turn a customer off when trying on clothes. Even worse when there is no chair or enough hanging space so I have to put my purse on the floor! I went and ordered a J. Crew pair of neon persimmon (more or less a pale pink) online so very excited!

    1. I didn't go for that pink jeans but instead just bought the J. Crew toothpick in neon persimmon online. Anxiously waiting for my order to come :)

  3. It drives me crazy that you have to take your shoes off! I like JcPenny's, they at least have carpet in their changing rooms! Love the pink by the way, so cheerful!

    1. It is worse in the summer as I would have no socks on and have to stand in the dirty dressing room with my bare feet.

  4. BWAHAHA! I literally LOL when I read about the dust bunnies! EVERY time I'n in Zara (no matter what province) it's alllllllways dirty. Seriously, they never sweep the dressing rooms. And I hate if I don't have enough space to hang everything and then my clothes or purse has to sit on the dusty floor. Ok. Rant over. (but seriously, wtf)

    1. That's exactly true. We should write to Zara Canada headquarters to voice our concerns. Now that I think about it, Zara is the only store I can think of guarantee to have dust bunnies in the dressing rooms.

  5. What camera do you use? I've been looking for a small camera that can fit in a small purse instead of using a phone to take pics on the go.

  7. Honey...I live in the city and filthy dressing rooms are nothing of surprise to me at this point haha. I am trying my very best to hold out for the sale at Zara. There are quite a few things that I currently have my eye on and I hope my size will be there once the sale begins.

    1. I love going to Zara but on weekends, it is crazy in there. The long line-up and dirty dressing room sometimes turn people off.

    1. I was originally looking at pale pink pants but hard to find. I eventually got a pair of peach toothpick denim from J. Crew.
