Spring Weather

Very nice weather today. 5 degrees celsius. Good chance for our pile of snow to melt a little bit in the next couple of days.

Have not been shopping for clothes a lot lately. With the freezing cold weather, all I usually wear is layer after layer and then a winter coat with boots. Nice and refreshing to just wear one spring jacket out today.

J. Crew rugby stripe boatneck top in S (here)

I got this a while back and still cannot believe it is still available online for only $23.99. It is such a great top. I throw it in the washer so many times. Never have to iron it(oh yes, it is a bit wrinkly but it is a rugby shirt so it is allowed haha!) I also have this in the pink/burgundy version and also wear it so much.

Sometimes when you see an item on sale forever, you kind of wonder what is wrong with this. Maybe some people don't like the linen/cotton combination or the wide stripes. But I love stripes and I know I will wear this lots in the spring still.

J. Crew Snowcap quilted jacket in size S in dried olive (here)

This, too, has been on sale for a while. It is currently at $118. Spring items are rolling in and I am confident that they will have another 40% off promo soon to clear up all their fall inventory.

Just so nice to be able to wear a spring jacket and go out. The roads are a bit messy with the melting snow and salt, making it not dog-walking friendly though. But rain or shine, snowing or not, I still take my dog out for walks twice a day. People always comment on how dedicated I am to my dog. He needs his exercise just like the rest of us. Yes, sometimes our walks are messy and dirty but then he comes home happy and content. It is a small sacrifice we dog owners have to make.
