Was at one of the newly-opened Target store at Center Point Mall 2 weeks ago. Did not find the merchandise as impressive as I thought it would be. Decided to try another Target store at the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket yesterday.
This location is much better than the one at Center Point Mall. The one at Center Point Mall is a 2 story location. Groceries are inconveniently located on the second floor.
The layout at the Upper Canada Mall is much better.
Pixi Cosmetics
As you can tell, the shelves are not fully-stocked yet. Pixi Cosmetics is new to us Canadians. Their display is quite large (there is also a full section around the corner of the isle).
Physician's Formula display
There are 3 full isles of makeup in this location. Brands like Loreal, CoverGirl, Revlon, Almay etc are here as well as NYC and NYX which are usually only available at Rexall stores and Walmart.
This is the Sonia Kashuk section
Sadly only a handful of products are available. Some nail polish and skin serum. They don't have any of their brushes available yet as opposed to the Center Point location.
Home Decor section
This is just one of the many isles of the home decor section. As I went there pretty early in the morning and staff was still getting things ready so I didn't feel comfortable snapping pictures everywhere.
I got a few of these colorful plastic containers for storage. I believe these are for kids' toys storage. Much cuter than the regular storage boxes.
Overall, I'm so happy with the Target store in this location. They have the shoes section and a much larger clothing department. Full accessories and purses. I would think that these should be standard in all new Target stores but surprised they were not at the Center Point location.
