MAC Sheen Supreme Lipsticks

Unlike most people, I prefer lipsticks which are less-pigmented. I would rather have lipsticks which are moisturizing and have a sheen to them.

MAC just released some new colors to their Sheen Supreme lipstick line. I picked up one from their limited edition and one from the permanent line.

The packaging is different from their regular lipsticks. These come in a shiny plastic tube. Pretty sleek.

Candy Apple is from their limited edition collection. The color is described as mid-tone warm plum. This is not the usual color I would go for but I like the plum undertone to it, making it not as vibrant as it seems.

It does not do justice in pictures. In real life, it looks much more vibrant rose color.

Supreme Style

Supreme Style is described as " light coral with pink" on the website. However, I would say it is more pink than coral.

I am always on a hunt for a good nude lipstick which does not make me look washed-out or sick. The Supreme Style is a very nice nude with a hint of pink.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase on my first Sheen Supreme lipsticks from MAC. They are very moisturizing and I don't need to apply lip gloss over it. The formula of these lipsticks is very creamy and making the lipsticks a bit softer than regular ones. So be careful when you first apply and don't twist up too much product or your lipstick would be easily dented.

    1. I am loving these and have been wearing these every day since I got them. Think these from MAC suit me much better than their regular ones which I find a bit drying on my lips.

  2. Wow I love those colours! Very pretty.
I've never tried a Mac sheen supreme lipstick, well actually never owned a Mac lipstick for that matter! Shock horror, that needs to change!
    These look gorgeous though.

    1. The MAC lipsticks are so popular but until I try these sheen supreme ones, I never understand what the hype is really about. I like more glossy and moisturizing lipsticks much better than their regular ones.

  6. Supreme Style looks like an ideal everyday colour! Candy Apple reminds me a bit of MAC Plumful - not sure why they named it that, as I immediately think of the Revlon Lip Butter of the same name :p

    1. that's what I thought of when I saw the name Candy Apple. It is a much darker and vibrant color than I usually wear but since it is very moisturizing. Feel if it's matte, color would be more intense.

    1. same here. I prefer sheen supreme to their regular lipsticks. Find the matte lipsticks are too intense on my lips. I'd rather apply these and skip the step of putting on lip balm afterwards.
