October Favorites

My favorites this month have been very simple. I have been using these products almost daily throughout the whole month which is so unusual for me. But also tells how much I enjoy these.

Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Super-Charged Foundation in 32 Beige Light
Somebody please stop me from raving about this foundation. If you don't know yet, it has been my absolute favorite foundation(see my post). The coverage is light and gives my skin that natural flawless look. Highly recommend this if you have normal-combination skin as it does not even need a setting powder to keep you matte all day long.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
I received this deluxe sample size in my October TopBox(prive box). This is in powder form. You just need to wet your hands a bit and pour some powder over to make a paste to apply to your face as an exfoliant. This one is gentle enough for everyday use. My other exfoliants are a bit harsh for my relatively drier skin in the cool weather.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
I use Radiant Light(the far right inside the palette) as a all-over powder. It is a bit darker compared to the other 2 shades and it is perfect to give your skin some warmth. The Incandescent Light(the one in the middle) is a limited edition. I use that as a highlight on my cheeks. Dim Light(far left) is used to set my under eye concealer and gives the dark area a brightening effect.  With the Sephora VIB sale starting soon, I would think this palette will sell out fast. So if you are thinking of getting this, better hurry.

L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow in Iced Latte
I can't believe it took me this long to finally buy the highly-raved L'Oreal infallible eye shadow. I tend to shy away from shimmery shadows. But this one is a very pretty beige/champagne shade. Just enough shimmer to give your eyes a brightening and lifting effect.

MAC RiRi Bad Girl Gone Good Blush
This is my go-to blush. It is a warmer tone of blush which I don't have any in my collection. It gives my cheek a healthy and warm touch.

Lioele Auto Eyebrow
This is my first Lioele product. I used to use Benefit's brow powder duo(one side is a wax powder and the other is a powder). But ever since I got this Lioele one, I haven't been using the powder duo at all. This one has a slanted which makes filling in brows effortlessly and very natural. The other side is a spoolie which is so handy.

Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Nylon Nude
I got this from the Sephora Give Me More Lips set (see my post for all the lippy swatches). I don't usually go for nude lippy which makes me look sick and washed out. But I like to layer this on top of brighter and bolder lipsticks to tone it down. It is also so moisturizing and buttery.

What is on your favorite list this month? I love to read what others are enjoying.

    1. The MAC blush is such a pretty shade. Think it would suit warmer skintone better and it would look great on you. Hopefully you can find that in store as it was sold out online when it was first released.
