Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush

I have heard so much about this Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush. For some reason, I never have the urge to swatch it in store. When I see the swatches online, I wonder if it would work for my NC30 skin tone.

What it is:
A blush that effortlessly recreates a natural, flushed look on the cheeks.

What it does:
Recreate the look of just-pinched, rosy cheeks with this finely-milled light-pink blush. The unique formula adjusts to your skin’s natural chemistry to create a customized look and the universal shade, Petal #001, is flattering on all skintones. Its ultra-fine, powder texture and irresistible rose fragrance offer a moment of pure indulgence with each application.

Decided to swatch it and the shade was so light and lilac. I wanted to try it on my cheeks and when I did, there is no going back.

The shade looks like it is lilac pink and you would have never imagined that this blush would show up on cheeks so beautifully.

You can barely see the swatch on my arm. But when it is applied on cheeks, it transforms into a rosy glow, exactly what the name suggested.

On minimal makeup days, I apply Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum, Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush, did my brows and mascara, Fresh Petal lip treatment and I look refreshed and out the door I go. Highly recommend this blush if you love natural and wear minimal makeup. It does show up different on everyone. I tried it on my mom who is NC 20 and it looks slightly more rosier than on me.

  1. So pretty!
I have too many soft pink blushes like this so I can't justify buying another one, but....drooling I am. ;p
Dior does pressed powder formulations very nicely!

    1. I never believe in high end makeup products, thinking they are over-hyped. But now after this, I think I am convinced if a high end product is so raved, it is really that good. You would look awesome with this blush with your complexion. Totally you!

  2. I am a little cautious about lilac blushers.. i heard it shows up only on really fair skin.. hearing what you've said I would love to give lilac blushers a go but perhaps not this expensive one :)

    1. I never thought I would love this blush so much just by looking at swatches online. But if you go into the store and try it yourself, I am pretty sure you will fall in love with it as well.

    1. I think you would look gorgeous in this blush. I have been using it for a whole week straight and I haven't touched any of my other ones. Probably my holy grail(for now :) Yes, I have one Chanel cream blush and it is a coral shade. I forgot about that one since I usually wear coral exclusively in the summer time. Thanks for reminding me, sweetie!

  5. It looks quite pale in the swatch but I'm glad to hear it transforms on the skin and works really well for a fresh, natural look :) These are definitely a splurge but I haven't read a bad review about them yet!
