I usually make a shopping plan before I head into the store as I know I always get overwhelmed when I get there. Want to shop for pants this time so browse online beforehand.
Have been shopping for a pair of colored denim for a while. Want a pair of mint/light blue color. Have tried on a few but no luck so far as they are either low-rise or very skinny.
When I saw the scout chino online, I thought that may work.
And when I got to the store, saw the gondola top which I love when I first saw it online and had to try it on.
The material is very soft. I thought it is all silk but it has a certain texture to it so makes it more substantial. I would say a bit velvety on the touch. Very nice and I love it.
Next grabbed the scout chino in mint. From the website, the color does not show up very well. It is a very light mint color, which is what I like.
I grabbed a size 4 and a 6 to try on. The first picture was a size 4 and it fits ok on the waist. I tried on the size 6 next and it fits better and I like the length better. The material is not as thick as the toothpick jeans which I like it better.
I wasn't looking for a pair of bright fuscia pants but I wanted to try it on and totally amazed of how well it fits. No wonder it is so many others rave about this. Only this color is on sale. My sales associate told me that they just put these on sale 5 mins earlier. They were on sale for $82.
Obsessed with polka dot and how could I resist this polka dot capri pants? But I'm not sure besides a white or black top, I can't wear much else with this bold pattern. So, will pass on this one....... for now.
I ended up getting everything but the polka dot pants. I wasn't going to get the scout chino but they fit so comfortably and after trying on numerous mint colored jeans/pants, I don't want to let this pair go. Knowing my luck, J. Crew will have a 30% off sale this weekend online. But I will be in town for a few more days so if that happens, will bring that back and repurchased online.
