Ever since I was introduced to Physicians Formula felt-tip lash booster liner 2 years ago, I became very impressed with their products. I got the lash booster liner because there was a mail-in rebate, making the price much more appealing for a drug-store brand.
With the new year, Physicians Formula is offering a list of products qualified for mail-in rebates. I browsed through their new products and the blush caught my eye immediately.
How can you turn down such cute packaging?
In its package
I haven't tried their blushes before and this is my first one. There are two shades to choose from. This is more dusty pink. The other shade offered is more of a coral, peachy shade.
It opens up like a book. Reminds me of the cute packaging from Benefit's
At the back of the box, it also opens up with a brush
When you first open the box, you would be immediately drawn to the vanilla-scented blush. I always like dessert-scented makeup so I love that added feature. The pigmentation of this shade is quite good. Very smooth and gives me a very natural glow.
I got this one at Rexall for $19.99. Yes, I know, it is quite deep for a drug-store blush. The mail-in rebate is $7 so it would only cost me $12.
Few other items which are on the mail-in rebate list also interest me. The Organic Fakeout mascara and the Sexy Booster bronzer are on my watch-out list. I will wait for these to go on sale or become available at Walmart. They also have a new line of BB cream, concealers and powders but they don't get a lot of good reviews so I'm hesitant to try. Have you tried any of the new products from Physicians Formula? What do you recommend?
I haven't tried that many product from Physicians Formula...and the ones that I did were okay..but recently I have seen a lot of good reviews for their newer stuff so I should try it out again.
ReplyDeleteGreat review!

Their lash booster liner is my absolute favorite. Very precise and I have been using it for 2 years and still hasn't dried out one bit yet. Very impressive. With the current mail-in-rebates, good time to try out their new products. Their prices are not really good considering they are drug-store.
DeleteAh! I love their packaging! It's so cute and girly. :)

I have a soft spot for cute packaging :)
DeleteThe packaging totally reminds me of Benefit's too! Really cute =) I've never tried any of the Physician's Formula range, but I'd quite like to =)

yes, the packaging is so similar to the boxed blushes from Benefit. So cute!
DeleteWow! I haven't seen that blush. Great that it smells like vanilla! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome that it is vanilla-scented. Always a bonus when they scent great. This one just came out a month ago or so and I have only seen these in a couple of the drug stores in my area. Hope you will get to try it when you have a chance!
DeleteI haven't, but I absolutely adore the packaging on this! So cute!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog through the Monday Blog Hop by the way, so you have a new follower from that :)

the cute packaging always got me :)
Deletethanks for popping by, heading over to your blog next :)
Wow, that is a lot for a drugstore blush, but the color is really pretty! I would probably consider buying it just because the packaging and design is just so cute!
ReplyDeleteIf it's the mail-in-rebate, don't think I would get this blush. Totally agree, it is pricey for a drug store blush. The cute packaging is to die for. The bronzer packaging is very cute too.
Deletethe packaging is way too cute!!! i have tried a whole lot of their products but now i am tempted to since you say the pigmentation is great... i also need to try that lash booster liner! i never knew there were these mail in rebates - gotta keep my eyes peeled for that
ReplyDeletethe pigmentation of this one is pretty good, plus the delicious vanilla scent. I love dessert-scented makeup :) The lash booster liner is my absolute favorite. I'm so afraid that it may be discontinued some day. Thinking of stocking up on those. Definitely give those a try but make sure it's the thin felt-tip liner not the thick marker-like one. That one is not good at all.
Deletethanks for the tip!! i'll keep an eye out for it :)
DeleteThanks for mentioning this on my blog...$7 is a great MIR amount and dusty pink looks like a really wearable color. Will definitely have to keep an eye out for this at Rexall and Shoppers! :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't buy this on full price. It's a drug store blush and definitely not worth the $19 for sure. Will get my eyes out when the new items are on sale and together with the mail-in rebates, would be much better deals :)
DeleteThe packaging is absolutely incredible! But I definitely think that this blush is too pricey for drug store product!
ReplyDeleteXO,

totally agree. Think the blush is a bit pricey for drug-store. I wouldn't have got it if it's without mail-in-rebates :)
Deletethanks for popping by!
oh wow!! The packaging and the blush is so pretty...almost too pretty to use! The color looks like it would give such a pretty pink glow. That's also an awesome mail in rebate you scored there!! xoxo, Phoebe
ReplyDeleteI reviewed the BB cream a few days ago, I know a lot of people say they do not like it, but for me it worked really well! I also have my eye out on that mascara. My favourite time to get the PF products is when they are on sale at SDM during a 20x the points promo, double dipping on the rewards ;)
