Bath and Body Works have their 3 wick candles sale fairly regularly. If you want to try some holiday scented candles to put you in the mood for the dreadful holiday shopping, now is the time.
I placed an online order a couple of weeks ago when they had the same 2 for $22 candles sales. I got 4 this time:
Frosted Cranberry
"Inspired by ripe, red cranberries dusted with fresh snow and a blend of juicy peach, raspberry and vanilla"
Cider Lane
"As sweet as a trip to the local apple orchard each year, a delicious fall blend of mulled cider, warm caramel and sweet cinnamon"
Applewood Bonfire
"Warm up to the cozy scent of an autumn bonfire - apples, crackling barks and fresh cut wood"
Red Velvet Cupcake
"This Southern classic is perfect for the holidays – rich vanilla frosting and authentic red velvet cake"
I like to alternate between candles and I have started burning all 4 of them so I could give a brief review on them.
Of the 4, Red Velvet Cupcake is my favorite. If you are a big fan of red velvet cake like me, you would LOVE this one. It smells just like red velvet cake and it is not an overwhelming sweet scent which I love. Most cupcake or dessert-scented candles are so strong that give me headaches. This one is just right.
Cider Lane and Applewood Bonfire are kind of similar in my opinion. Both are apple-scented. Applewood Bonfire is more masculine. Reminds me of their Mahogany Teakwood(which is so similar to the Abercrombie & Fitch cologne). Cider Lane is a bit more sweet-scented but in a good way. When you imagine yourself sipping hot apple cider by a fireside, this is the scent you're getting.
Frosted Cranberry is the sweetest scented candle out of the 4. The scent is mixed with cranberries and citrus fruits. Very pleasant scent and I want to try other cranberry-scented ones like the Cranberry Woods.
