How many steps are there in your daily cleansing routine at the end of the day?
Mine includes eye makeup remover, cleansing oil and then a gentle cleanser with Clarisonic. Three steps do not sound like a whole lot but it usually takes me a good 10 minutes.
When I was offered to try the FaceOffCloth*, I was a bit skeptical. I am a total believer in totally removing makeup and would a face cloth without cleanser do the job?
I don't wear a whole lot of makeup on a daily basis. Usually concealer, foundation and a bit of blush. No eye makeup except waterproof mascara, a bit of brow gel and lipstick. I wet the cloth with warm water and then wipe my face. This is what it looks like from half of my face. I am a bit shocked to see how much makeup comes off with just gentle wiping. I didn't have to scrub it hard at all.
Does it remove all of my makeup?
I apply toner after the wash and this is what comes off on the cotton pad. Not bad at all!
My thoughts of FaceOffCloth:
Pros:
- Quick and easy
- Do not need cleanser
- Cleanse and exfoliate at the same time
- more environmentally friendly than using makeup wipes
- perfect for traveling
Cons:
- Cloth needs to be washed with soap after each use
- do not remove makeup completely
Overall, I am happy with FaceOffCloth and amazed how effective it is. Would I replace it with my current cleansing routine? Not quite. But it is perfect for after a long day and you don't feel like going through the few steps to wipe off your makeup and you can hop into bed sooner.
