Scarf Season Begins

Weather has turned cool for the past few days. It is bone-chilling cold in the morning. Time to whip up your scarf and get bundled up.

Loving my new Aquatalia by Marvin K Minnow suede boots(buy here)paired with leggings. These boots are absolutely my current favorite boots. So comfortable and you know they are when you wear them for a whole day and still feel like you can " hop" in those at the end of the day.

Got this grey pair of thick leggings from J. Crew last year. I was contemplating on getting the Pixie pants from them and even with the current promo(25 % off on sale and regular items), I don't see myself paying more than $75 in a pair of leggings.

Think it is made of the same stretchy fabric as the pixie pant. Instead of having the zipper at the back, this one has the zipper on the side, which I prefer. I got it during their 30% off sale last week and it is on its way to me.

Have been looking for a pair of suede knee-high riding boots for a while. Finally got a pair from Nordstrom last week.

I have a pair of Aquatalia from years ago and absolutely loving them. They are truly weatherproof and when you live in a place where from Christmas on till April, inches of snow on the ground, these boots are reliable.

I like these as it got a bit of heel. Very little bit but making them a wee-bit more dressy than the other suede boots I have been considering.

The ankle part is leather, making these much easier to maintain. As we all know, when you drive with these, the ankle part is the fastest worn-out part. 

I read a lot of reviews on these and they truly run small and narrow. So I sized up a full size to 8.5 ( I am regularly 7.5). When buying zip-up knee high boots, I am always worried that the zipper won't zip up. These ones are really made for skinny calves and I'm so glad I sized up and I can tug in my Old Navy skinny cords in these. Great thing about these are there is a bit of elastic on the opening part of the shaft making it easier to zip up the widest part of your calves.

First time I bought from Nordstrom online. I ordered them last Tuesday and I got them within 1 week. For international orders, Nordstrom contracts their orders to FiftyOne(a global e-commerce company). Nordstrom will ship the order by DHL to FiftyOne and then they will ship the order by Canada Post with tracking. The duty/brokerage fee will be added to your order so no surprise tax or duty charges will be expected when you pick up your parcel.
