My SDM Haul

Here in Canada, we have a drug store Shoppers Drug Mart. I collect store points and redeem my points a few times throughout the year. This drug store also carries a wide variety of grocery items so make it easy to collect points since I can get milk, eggs as well as cosmetic items there.

I am quite stocked up on grocery items so when I knew about the mega redemption points this weekend, decided to redeem my points on mostly cosmetic items.

Most of the items here I use regularly. Cotton pads, Batiste dry shampoo, La Roche Posay cleanser, toner, suncreen, Quo makeup brush cleanser and brow liner.

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque

Have been wanting to try this highly-raved hair masque for a while. It is quite pricey at CDN $32. Have to leave the deep conditioner in your hair for 7 minutes before rinsing off. It smells just like those high end shampoo hair salons use. Excited to try it out and see if it helps with restoring the moisture in my hair.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

Here is another product which has received so much great reviews. Very lucky that most Shoppers Drug Mart carries this brand here. I think it is quite hard to get in U. S. This can be used as a makeup remover and cleanser. The cosmetician told me you only need a tiny amount for each use and it is very effective in removing tough eye makeup, even waterproof mascara. We only have this 250ml available in my store. It is $22. I saw the travel version in this week's flyer for $6.95(100 ml) but my store does not carry this size. Would be perfect to try out a travel-sized product before buying a bigger size.

Also got a few samples from the nice cosmetician there

Roc Dermatologic Enydrial Hand cream

So nice to receive a travel-sized sample of this hand cream. I quite like it as the scent is minimal and it is not super-greasy to apply but yet still moisturizing.

This is my little haul of freebies this weekend. Hope you guys have a great weekend!

    1. I have been eyeing on these for a while but just couldn't justify in paying that much. So now they are free to me and I'm a happy camper :)

  2. I just got back from my Shoppers trip. Isn't it fun getting a bunch of stuff for free. I knocked some presents off my Christmas list and got some "me" treats.

    1. I love freebies! Shoppers has a pretty good reward program and even though they are bit overpriced in their items but I get my shopping there on mostly on sale items.

    1. Your Shoppers is so generous! I never get gift cards from the cosmetician from my store. Usually the samples if I'm lucky.

    1. Yes, very excited to try these out as I heard so much great reviews about these. I did try the Bioderma Sensibio last nite to remove my eye makeup. Very effective and it doesn't take much to do the job but it stings my eyes a bit though.

  6. Love SDM and their points system too of course. You can find the Macadamia Hair Masque at Zennkai locations :) They're much cheaper for hair products, usually less than $30! And you will love the product, its very effective and smells soooo good.

    Enjoy!!
