Almost Free Physicians Formula

Physicians' Formula is a drug store brand I have used more and more lately. My absolute favorite is their lash boosting eyeliner. I have used that for the past 2 years almost daily and finally it shows signs of drying out.

Have to admit their mail-in rebate attract me to try more of their new products.

This week, at Rexall, they are having all Physicians Formula cosmetics 40% off their regular price. With the mail-in rebates, making them awesome deals.

All-in-1 Beauty Balm Concealer

Claims to be smoothing, concealing, correcting, anti-dark circles, anti-puffiness, brightening, perfecting, protecting and long-lasting.

If it really does all it claims, it would be a miracle concealer, wouldn't it?

I picked up the shade light medium. It comes in a tube with a twist up brush applicator.

The shade is bit darker than I thought

This is a heavy swatch. I didn't know how much it would squeeze out with a few twists.

When it is blended out, it certainly has a quite heavy coverage. It does not feel sticky to the touch. It does smooth out the skin. Quite moisturizing so I will try to do my under eye circles.

I did not pick up their BB cream as I have tried many drug store BB cream and they don't impress me much more than regular tinted moisturizers. I'd rather stick to my Korean brand Skin 79 BB cream.

This concealer is regular priced at $12.59 and with 40% off, it is $7.55. With the $5 mail-in rebate, it costs me around $2.55 so quite a good deal for me to try.

Sexy Glow Bronzer

I picked up their Sexy Glow blush which I really enjoy so decided to pick this up as well. There are 2 shades offered and this is a lighter shade.

Cute packaging is always a plus

Opens up like a mini story book

I mostly swatched on the outer part of the bronzer so no shimmer at all.  If you swatch the middle, would have a little bit of shimmer. I should have picked up the darker shade as this one is quite light and may not show up too well. This one, like their Sexy Glow blush, is vanilla-scented. Much stronger scent than the blush.

This one is regularly-priced at I believe $22.99 and with 40% off, it comes to $13.79. With a $9 mail-in rebate, it costs me around $4.79. For $4.79, it is definitely a great deal for a bronzer. But at regular price, I wouldn't get it.

  1. I don't have luck with any western market BB creams. I've tried a few and they didn't work on me. I'm currently using the Elishacoy Triple BB cream. Skin79 has too many different kinds of BB cream, I don't know which one to try out.

    1. I have tried a few different Asian BB cream and find Skin 79 (hot pink) works the best for me as I have oily skin and that doesn't grease me up. If you have drier skin, would suggest the gold one. Didn't read too many great reviews about Physicians Formula bb cream so not dare to try.

    1. I only get them when they are on sale or when they have mail in rebates. Really expensive for drugstore.

  3. Personally, I think Physician's Formula is a nice brand, and provides quality stuff. I'd love to try this concealer. I'm liking that it's creamy.

    Thanks for the review.

By the way, the stick concealer by Physician's Formula also works well.

    1. Just remember to look for those products with mail-in rebates stickers on them. I like creamier concealer as it often offers more coverage and easier to blend.

    1. I haven't tried their mascara and thinking about the mascara too. It would be an awesome deal for those. I like the fact that it is organic and doesn't have all kind of chemicals.

    1. I have tried using this concealer a few times. It does have full coverage if you build it up and it is quite easy to blend. It is a bit pricey for a drug store brand so I take full advantage of the sale and mail-in rebate.

Thanks for popping by, following back :)
