Lorac Eye Candy Bronze Eye Palette

When I first spotted the Lorac Eye Candy Full Face Collection before Christmas, I was drooling over it. But it was quite a big collection and I certainly did not need everything in the collection.

I believe it comes with a few eyeshadow palettes, a cheek palette and a lip palette.

I have not tried any of the Lorac eyeshadows before and would love to try one. Recently, I managed to snag one of these palettes from a blog sale.

It was my first time buying from a blog sale and I am very picky in the products I buy. I would not dare to get any lip products for hygienic reasons.  Unless they are brand new and sealed, I would not want it.

I got one of the eye palettes from the collection for a very decent price. It has only been swatched and maybe used once or twice. I got this from a quite well-know beauty guru on youtube and I know she buys a lot of beauty products just for trying them out.

This is what I got: Tantalizing Cocoa

It is a bronze eye shadow palette

She only had 2 palettes from the collection for sale. I picked this one as I can see myself wearing these shades on a daily basis.

From left: a frosty beige, a bronze with gold shimmer, a rich matte brown and a dark charcoal greyish black

The pigmentation is just gorgeous. These are just from one swipe of each of the shade and look how amazing it shows up on my skin.

The other item I got is a brand new Tarte cheek stain

This is from the Sephora In the Glow set released just before Christmas

I got it in my set and I have been using it so much almost on a daily basis for an everyday hint of color on my cheek. It blends so well and the color seems so pretty and stays on quite well. I have been wanting to purchase the full size but it is quite pricey. So when I saw this on the blog sale, I was very excited.

  7. Great pick! I would go with neutrals too ;;) Can't never have enough of neutrals in my love. I've never actually tried Tarte cheek stain, just tested in the store and wasn't hooked. Mental note: cheek out Tarte cheek stain next time at Sephora.

    1. I always go with neutrals and find they work best for me. The Tarte cheek stain is very nice. I usually dab a little bit on and then apply powder blush and find the combination last the longest on me.

    1. this is my first time buying from blog sales and I have got myself some great items. Very happy with them. I find the best way for the cheek stain is to dab some on and then apply your regular lighter shade blush and will improve the staying power.
