Sephora Haul

With the holiday season quickly approaching, Sephora has launched many holiday gift sets. I am slowly getting my Christmas shopping done and of course did not neglect "myself" in the fun process.

Ebates has been offering 8% on Sephora for the past couple of weeks and that pushed me over the edge to place a few orders with them.

Joise Maran Escape to Morocco Holiday Lights & Brights Set(buy here)

Includes: 100% Pure Argan Oil Light(15ml)
Argan Color Stick in Spice(5.9 g)
Argan Illuminizer(15 ml)
& Argan High Gloss Lip Quench in Pink Honey

Here are the swatches, from left to right: Color Stick in Spice, Argan Illuminizer & Pink Honey lip gloss

I have tried the Josie Maran argan oil original and really enjoy it. So very excited to try the light version. The other product I'm most exited about is the illuminizer. I have not tried any liquid highlighter before and this one is just gorgeous as seen in the swatch. Isn't it pretty? The lip gloss is a big tacky but the color payoff is very nice.

Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Super-Charged Foundation in 32 Beige Light

I have been drawn to lightweight foundation. Like the light coverage and don't want to look like I wear thick foundation all day long. I have tried a small sample of this foundation from Sephora earlier and am quite impressed by the formula.

Swatch of foundation is on the far left

The formula is quite runny and I am so glad this is equipped with a pump for easy application. As you can tell, it is not a heavy coverage foundation. I still like my skin to peek through and look more natural. Will keep you guys updated after I try this.

Lorac PRO to Go Eye/Cheek Palette(buy here)

Next up is the Lorac Pro to go eye/cheek palette. I have been eyeing on the Lora Pro palette for the longest time but I use mostly matte shades so all the shimmery shades won't get much use. When I see they came up with a travel palette with 6 eye shadows, 2 eye shadow brushes, 2 blushes and a bronzer, I was immediately sold. Also the packaging is very cute. It is compact enough but when you spread it out, you have easy access to all the products.

Clinique Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel

I have been getting a few hormonal breakouts more often than usual the past couple of months. I was given a sample of this and quite impressed with how fast it dries out the pimple. So decided to get the full-sized product.

So here is my haul from Sephora and I got a few freebies with this order:

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbush Foundation

Samples from Becca, YSL, Bumble & Bumble and First Aid Beauty

    1. I swear I got " sucked" into all these Sephora holiday sets year after year and always spend more than I intended to. Will try my foundation tomorrow and for sure will do a follow-up review.

    1. I haven't tried the Tarte foundation yet but it is so silky and smooth for swatching. I use their Amazonian clay smooth operator and it's so awesome and I expect this one to work equally well. Will do an update once I try it out for a bit.

  5. I need to put in an order through Sephora soon! It's my birthday month so I want my gift (hee-hee) and I figured I'll stock up on Clarisonic brushes so it will help me get the free shipping, plus I'll get the online freebies. It's a win-win-win! Hopefully ebates still has a good deal for Sephora.
I started working on my Christmas wish list as well and some of their gift sets are definitely getting added to it!

    1. Sephora has so many great holiday sets. Awesome for getting gifts there and also for yourself. Early Happy Birthday to you! Sephora has recently improved on their shipping time in Canada. Usually you will get your order a week as compared to 2 weeks or more before.
