Just in case you haven't entered my international giveaway, you have 2 more days to do so.
Hope you all had a great weekend. We had a dump of snow on Sat and freezing rain this morning. I don't mind snow but freezing rain, it is such a dread. It is like a skating rink on the roads. Glad I don't have to go anywhere in particular today. It is so stressful with winter driving.

Tried my first glitter nail polish also. It is quite easy to apply and it takes no time to dry which surprised me. I don't know why but I always thought that glittery polish is so hard to apply. I put on 2 coats and a top coat in this picture. However, only after 1 day of wear, it chips and part of the polish just came off in "sheets". Not sure if I applied it incorrectly? The thing about this polish is it is a drier formula and even part of my polish came off, I just reapplied some on the missing part and it is quite ok.
Your sweater looks cute!
ReplyDeleteWe had a lot of snow too(it melted) and we are also supposed to have freezing rain tonight.
I did all of my errands today,so i dont have to leave the house tomorrow.
I hate freezing rain. Just spent an hour outside trying to clear the driveway. As our weather forecast says it is going to get warmer and getting rain. It will be so slippery. Glad we both didn't have to go out today. Cannot imagine how stressful to drive on slippery highways.
DeleteWhat a pretty nail polish!!! I love glitter ^^ xx
ReplyDeleteI am loving my first glittery polish. But it is coming off as chunks. Is it normal? Or I need to apply a special base coat for these?!
DeleteLove the color way on your factory sweater though - thanks for sharing that it may need to be handwash only! AND... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Thank you very much sweetie! I don't think I will handwash it. I always throw it in a cold gentle cycle in my washing machine and should be ok hopefully :)
DeleteI love that glaze I herd that nail polish. It is beautiful. Anyway, I found you on blog hop and followed you. I would love to keep in touch so if you would kindly follow back, i would really appreciate it. :)
ReplyDeletethanks for dropping by. I already am your follower :)
DeleteOh happy birthday in advance :) Too lucky to have snow , it never snowed in my area -_-
ReplyDeleteLove the nail polish :)
Aree With Umbrella
thank you sweetie! Trust me, snow is nice to look at but it is not much fun, oh well, if you're not a skier that is. Slippery winter road driving, shoveling driveways etc.
DeleteAlways use a good base coat with glitter polishes.
ReplyDeleteInstead of a traditional base coat, use Elmer's Glue instead. Brush on a thin but decent layer of Elmer's Glue on your nail. It goes on white but dries clear. Now apply your glitter polish over the Elmer's Glue base layer. Apply a top coat over that.
When you are ready to change your polish simply use the edge of an orange stick or another fingernail to peel off the entire thing! Sorcery!
thanks so much for the tip! I really love this glitter polish but it didn't last more than 1 day. I would definitely try your suggestion. Will have to go find Elmer's Glue, that's for sure.
