I am so excited today to receive my first Topbox.
Topbox is another beauty subscription service which is available in Canada. From what I gathered from the blogging world, Topbox has been one of the most favorite beauty boxes.
After being put on the waiting list for months, I finally got signed up.

Very pretty wrap. I'm definitely going to recycle this and use it for storage or as a gift tube
Included in my November Topbox:
Roberto Cavalli eau de parfume deluxe miniature: Full size $80 (50ml)
Benefit They're Real! Mascara, sample size: Full size $29 (8.5g)
China Glaze full size polish: Full size $10-12 (14ml)
Cuccio Naturale butter blend: Full size $18.95 (240g)
All the 4 products I received, only received 1 full-sized sample which is the China Glaze nail polish
Mine is " I Herd That", a gold shimmery polish. I really like this polish as I don't have any glittery polish and this gold color will be perfect starter polish for me.
Whenever I get perfume samples, I am not totally thrilled as I find perfume scent is very personal and I am very particular in the scent. I don't like really strong, overpowering feminine scent. But the Roberto Cavalli is quite nice. Not very floral or extreme feminine. I will definitely try that out.
I have the full size Benefit They're real mascara already. But always nice to get another sample size for travelling.
The Cuccio Naturale butter blend is quite creamy at first try.
Overall, quite happy with my first Topbox.
I have never tried any beautybox suscriptions and am not even sure if they are available in germany.

the beauty boxes are sometimes hits and misses. I have tried 2 other boxes but cancelled the subscription after a few months. Hopefully Topbox will keep sending good items.

the Benefit mascara is pretty amazing. I like this better than their other Bad Gal Lash.

ReplyDeleteI am most excited about the nail polish as I have never tried glittery polish. I have always thought the formula would be hard to apply but this one seems very nice.
DeleteI got the exact same Topbox as you! Also my first one, coincidentally enough. I am picky about scents (I have been using 1 Burberry Brit Sheer Eau de Toilette for years!) but I also really liked the Roberto Cavalli scent. Worried about trying the gold shimmery nail polish, but might be worth a try.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any shimmery nail polish before and I always worry about not applying it properly and I will get a lot of bubbles. Excited to try this one. Lucky the Roberto Cavalli perfume is quite pleasant. I don't mind it at all :)

When I see US bloggers post what is in their boxes, I envy them sometimes. Think these boxes are sometimes hits and misses. I have subscribed to a few but eventually cancelled the subscriptions. Hopefully this one will keep up. I am a new subscriber to the ipsy bag and excited to get my bag next month.

there are so many different subscription beauty boxes. This is different from Glossybox. I subscribed to Glossybox for a while. Like their items but they just increased their monthly price significantly so I cancelled my subscription as I don't think it's worth it.
