Neon Pink in the cold

We had 2 warm days this week and bam back to the chilling weather. Have been wearing a lot of blacks, greys in the past couple of weeks. Wearing some neon pink to brighten and warm up the -20 C weather.

Gap colorblock stripe sweater in S (buy here)
J. Crew pixie pant in size 4 (buy here)

When I saw this neon pink colorblock stripe sweater on the Gap website a while back, I fell in love as it is so similar to the J. Crew neon pink colorblock boatneck tee from the summer. I missed out on that one and have been searching for it everywhere but with no luck. I was at the Gap stores many many times but they were sold out.

This sweater is a very soft fuzzy cozy type of sweater. Feel like I can lounge around in this at the house all day long with my pj flannel pants :)

I finally got this sweater a couple of weeks ago when it re-appeared on the website. My regular size small is sold out but they had the tall version available. Think it may be just a bit longer than the regular size which suits perfect for me when I wear this with my pixie pant.

    1. I love the J Crew version so much and I was kicking myself when it was sold out. I was stalking it online for ages, watching for pop backs for months and eventually gave up. So I got this instead but there is a factory tee version very similar. I may have to get that one :)

  3. We must be twins... I'm sitting here wearing the exact same sweater right now and bought it for the exact same reason! I felt total un-buyer's remorse after not getting the J.Crew tee and so I jumped on this one immediately! Did you know that the J.Crew Factory has the tee this spring? I just got mine in the mail today!

    1. That is too funny, we think alike. I saw the factory version of the colorblock tee right after I placed an order on this one. Now you convince me that I need that one too!

  4. There is absolutely nothing wrong with neon pink in the winter! I sometimes buy the tall versions because I like them to be a little longer so I can rock them with leggings ;)

    1. just a pop of color in the freezing cold weather is very much needed here! I much prefer longer versions of sweaters as I find most of them these days are super short.

  5. I love striped tops, they're my favourite :) So flattering and easy to wear. The longer version is great for pairing with pants/leggings and the splash of neon pink definitely is one way to try to forget the cold, cold weather ;)

    1. I love stripes and they are so wearable. Think from now on, I would start buying tall version of sweaters to cover my behind :) Sweaters these days are quite short.
