ELF haul

Lately, I have been obsessing with blushes and find myself buying one after another. A couple of weeks ago, I took advantage of the offer ELF had: spend $20 and get a mystery gift bag valued at approximately $20. I love getting mystery bags as I'm always pleasantly surprised of the goodies I'm getting.

What I got:
A powder brush, Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in nude, 2 regular blushes, a baked blush and a long-lasting lustrous eye shadow in toast.

Mellow Mauve, Blushing Rose (top 2)
Baked blush in Passion Pink

Mellow Mauve is a very soft rosy pink. Blushing rose is the one I am most impressed about. Very pigmented.

(from L-R): Mellow Mauve, Blushing Rose & Passion Pink

Passion Pink(baked blush) appears to be more coral than I thought, got a bit of shimmer in it.

The powder brush is amazing. So soft and dense. You would never have thought this brush is so affordable. A lot of higher end brushes are not even that good quality. Highly recommend this one.

I am always in search for a nice nude lip gloss pencil. This one seems pretty nice and the nude doesn't wash me out.

I haven't really been using it for long so cannot comment on how long it lasts. But since it is not a lip stain and just a lip gloss, I expect the lasting power is average.

Long-lasting lustrous eyeshadow in toast. This one is very glittery. The color is very pretty. Even though I'm not a big fan of the glitters, this one seems wearable and have yet to test how the staying power is. Hope the fallout isn't too bad.

This is my mystery bag

These are my goodies. Not as good as I have anticipated but still very good selection. I got lip gloss, eyeshadow, lotion wipes which I really want to try, a lip stain and a few brushes.

    1. I haven't tried it yet but found it interesting. I'm guessing it's more of a moisturizing wipe.

    1. I usually would look around and collect enough items in my shopping cart before buying since the shipping to Canada is quite expensive.

  3. Does the lip gloss pencil dry out your lips? I need to do an ELF haul soon but I'm waiting until I have enough to get free shipping!

    1. I have only tried it once and it did not dry out my lips. Not the most moisturizing lip product but not drying at least.

  5. Oh yes, blushes are obsess-worthy. ELF offers great choices. My next beauty haul will probably include at least one ELF blush.
