Merry Christmas

We survived one of the worst ice storms in the Toronto area. Power outage for more than 40 hours in the frigid cold weather was a struggle. But we made it through and thankful that everybody is safe. Only one tree needs to be cut down. We are so thankful that power was restored yesterday and we could get ready for Christmas.

Wishing everyone a very safe and happy holiday season!

  3. We lost power for 3 days, and it wasn't restored until yesterday. Glad to hear you got power back. Merry Christmas, and best wishes for a happy New Year!

  4. You were caught in that storm? Yikes! I'm glad to hear you got your power back relatively fast compared to some others, and that it was in time for Christmas.

    1. even though it was a Loooooooonnggggg 48 hours without power, we are so lucky compared to so many others who are still left in the dark as we speak. Hope power will be restored for everybody before the New Year's and we all have a new bright start for 2014.

    2. I agree! Now that I re-read my comment I sound insensitive towards those who are still without power and that was not what I meant. These types of storms are brutal and thankfully don't come around too often. I hope all will be back to normal for everyone asap. Being this long without power in the winter, and during the holidays on top of that, is not something I wish on anyone.
