August Empties

Did not finish too many products up in August.

Bath & Body Works Island Margarita 3-Wick Candle has got to be one of my top favorite scented candles of all times. This must be my third tub finished. It has the perfect summer drink scent and not too sweet.

Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover is my staple makeup remover. It removes the most stubborn waterproof eye makeup. Gentle enough and does not sting my eyes which is super important to me as I wear contact lens.

Dior's Creme de rose is one of the best lip balm I have ever tried. This is my first one and I have already bought a second one. I didn't want to fall into the hype of this expensive high-end lip balm but finally caved in and so glad I got this. All winter long, this is my lip savior. Probably first winter that my lips felt so moisturized.

Graftobian Corrector Palette is my under eye area's best friend. I have dark circles and I only used 2 shades of this palette. I mix the darkest shade(a more orange shade) and a salmon shade to cover up my under eye area. I bought this online last year and I use this every day and this last more than 1.5 years. Already bought my second one and put it to good use already.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer is a nice highlighter concealer. Great to brighten up the under eye area. It has a twist up brush applicator which I am not too crazy about as it is hard to control the amount of product dispensed.

L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extension Waterproof Mascara has become my favorite drug store mascara to replace my previous favorite: Maybelline's Falsies. It gives more natural but yet still lengthen my lashes. Holds my curls much better and I am happy to say my lashes stay curled up all day long.

Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream is one of the sample products sent. It is a medium weight eye cream and I apply that only at night time. Very moisturizing but a bit thick to my liking. Other than moisturizing properties, I didn't find anything extra special about this eye cream.

What have you finished this month? I love seeing what others finished up. Leave me a link below with your post.

    1. The concealer palette is indeed very good. Very creamy and easy to apply, especially for the under eye area.

  2. I love the smell of the CD lip balm so much, but I am not sure if I would buy it again. My Honey Trap one from Lush works just as good and it is so much cheaper! Gotta love the luxurious feeling I get when I use the CD though. :)

    1. I haven't tried any lip balm from Lush yet. Will have to go there and sniff it out. Thanks for the recommendation!

  3. Anything that smells like a margarita sounds like a winner to me. :)

  4. I've heard great things about the Dior lip balm but not a fan of the pot-style, though I probably will cave in one day as well :) Nice job on hitting pan on the Graftobian!

    1. that together with its price tag are major downside of the Dior creme de rose. I only apply this at night time at home with clean fingers. Hope they will come out with a lip balm in a twist up form so I can take it with me when I go out. It really takes a long time to hit pan on the Graftobian. To me, it is a pretty decent deal.

  5. you are reigniting my lust over the Dior's Creme de rose hehe. i wanted to get this for the longest time but decided not to cause of its price. i thought id replace it with the popular said dupe - rosebud salve but its rose scent is too much. hows the scent of the creme de rose tho? :)

    1. I also have the rosebud salve but I am not crazy about it. Yes, it is moisturizing but the texture is just not the same as creme de rose. The scent of rose is not as prominent in the Dior's, think you will like that better :)
