What I Bought Lately

What I Bought Lately

I have been doing a bit of makeup organization and I have got rid of some unused products and made room for more. Don't know if it is a healthy habit or not :(

Everybody is raving about their Lorac Pro 2 palette and sadly Sephora doesn't carry Lorac anymore and it is a challenge to find Lorac products online. The more I compare the Pro and Pro 2 palette, the more I am convinced I am leaning towards the original palette. Think the warmer shades would suit me more. I got mine from Amazon.com and compared to crazy prices on ebay, it is a pretty decent deal.

Another product which everybody is raving about is the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I went to Sephora to swatch a few times and finally decided on the shade custard.

When I was at my numerous trips to Sephora when I was in Toronto last month, I couldn't find any Becca counters. I love their Beach Tint Souffle so much that I want to try other products from the brand. Did an online order and decided on the Becca Shimmering Perfector in Pressed powder in Rose Gold. It was a limited edition from last fall and glad they decided to make it a permanent product.

I need a pressed powder to "house" in my purse for mid-day touch up. I have the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder currently but it doesn't have a mirror and I need to bring a small kabuki brush along. So I thought it is handy to get the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer Powder.

Clinique has released its new Smart Custom Repair Serum. I have faith in Clinique products and got a deluxe sample of this with my Sephora order.

I've been buying higher-end eyeshadow palettes lately. I just bought one of the new Dior quint. Really excited!
I still love my Dior nude compact but miss carrying less bulky round ones. Will look forward to your reviews on these new goodies! :)

    1. I am more into higher-end eyeshadow as I don't have much luck with the drug-store ones. Really want to pick up the Maybelline nude palette but heard the formula is quite patchy.

    1. I don't know why it took me so long to finally cave in and got the Lorac Pro palette. The shades are so pretty. The Pro 2 is nice too but if I could just pick up one, the original is still my pick.
