I love eyeshadow palette as it is easy and handy. You don't have to go through individual shadows and that saves so much time and headache. With a customizable palette, it is even better as you can hand pick every single shadow and use all the shades which suit you the best.
There was an amazing deal at Sephora last week for this newly-released Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palette. The empty palette is $20 and each shadow is $15. The deal was when you add 6 shadows and the empty palette to your cart, at checkout, $60 discount would be applied and the palette with 6 shadows would be $50. But for some reason, the total came to $20. The shadows were sold out very quickly but luckily went back in stock the next morning and I was able to grab 2 full palettes.
My palette is very neutral. You can never have enough of these shades. I picked all matte shades.
This is how they come in: customizable empty palettes and the eyeshadows you picked.
There is this tray inside the palette which you could slide out to insert your eyeshadows.
For each individual shadow, there is a tiny tab so you can easily insert into the space on the tray. You would hear a tiny click so you know it is secured.
The tray full of your picked shadows can be slided back into the palette and there you go, your customizable eyeshadow palette. Later on, if you run out of the shadows or you want to switch up a bit, you can get more shadows and replace them. I am not very good at depotting eyeshadows and damaged a few of my MAC shadows. These are so easy to do. You don't have to worry about nicking your shadows while taking them out as you can lift the tiny tab.
I haven't had a chance to test out the shadows yet but they seem so creamy and buttery. Very pigmented and I know they would be a breeze to blend. Excited to try out.
